Modelista’s Take:\r\n\r\nFirst of all, we feel it’s important to present not just one side but two sides, that’s why we set up this site. So when I came across this post, on a site that is set up on a negative platform, we felt this person really must have meant what they said. Take into consideration though that this person graduated in 1973.\r\n\r\nHere’s the deal, this person has some merit in what they are saying. Barbizon does have a long list of “famous” success stories. The thing that sticks out to me in this post is that of the “ordinary” success stories. While Barbizon has many success stories, these will be few and far between on the uber famous level. The fact of the matter is this is a seriously competitive industry. No matter how you get started, you should bring your expectations down to earth and realize the things Barbizon can offer on a realistic level: industry connections, appropriate head start training, personal development and the development of a positive self esteem.
