Our Take
Model Mama’s Take:\r\n\r\nFirst of all, this is not Barbizon’s fault. If you don’t have the money, you shouldn’t sign up for Barbizon. From a mom who sent my daughter to Barbizon, I didn’t have any problems with Barbizon because I didn’t fall for a sales tactic and knew if I signed up I was going to have to make the payments.\r\n\r\nAs far as Barbizon not allowing this woman’s daughter to attend class because she missed a payment, not so great customer service to crush the little girls heart when she shows up for class and then refuse to speak to the parent. We contacted Barbizon and turns out Terri Thomas no longer works there, obviously they have tried to address the problems there.\r\n\r\nThe deal is that yes Barbizon should clean up their customer service and sales tactics. However, they did provide the services the woman paid for and she was the one who couldn’t pay for the services. Granted they shouldn’t embarrass a little girl, and hopefully they will learn from their mistake for the next time. Just know that Barbizon is a business and they must get paid so if you sign up, you have to be able to pay.
